Lee was president of that institution. Lee ' s gracious and knightly life is enshrined forever in the fraternity ' s customs, and the ideals and aims of the founders were largely influenced by him. However, most of its strength still lies in the South where its ideals, principles, and precepts were drawn up. The fraternity strives to weld its members into a deep bond of affection, spreading its radiance of character, love, and fellowship into every heart. Pi Kappa Alpha is the ninth largest fraternity in the nation in total membership, and it boasts 111 active chapters.
