She was poet of her class in '08.

Her bril- liant mind allowed her the privilege of enjoying herself until exams., when a little bit of eramming would put her over the pass with a good mark. She is very sympathetic, and delights in aid- ing the blind, lame, and halt. Her career in this world will be a noble success. Cross Hill should be justly proud of her. She won the History Mledal in 'OQ2 was vice-president of her class in '09, and prophet of her class in '08 and 'iIO. He stands well with the students, the Faculty, and fair sex. His most notable success was in Chemistry. He is ambitious, and wishes to emi- grate to Baptist Hill, where he may ht himself for life. He is very full of life, and sees only the bright side of things. This lad is a good college man and is destined to make a success with whatsoever he undertakes. He is very generous in imparting his knowledge to his classmen. llis notoriety consists in pronouncing German. He is a theologi- cal student. and with such a determina- tion as he possesses is sure to make his mark in the world. lle won the Shive Scholarship for two successive years, also the maga- zine prize for two years.
