ALLARD HORIZONS UNLIMITED CLASS OF ' 69 Lunar landing, space travel, horizons once only very dim to the view of man now coming into clear focus — these are the unusual realities that stand in spec- tacular relief as the seniors of this graduating class take their places in the world of today. What tre- memdous challenges lie ahead! To many these things offer unlimited opportunities to advance and grow i n many ways as new vistas open before us, to contribute in some new way to mankind ' s welfare and advancement. To others they are only threats to security, occasions of doubt and fear, fear of the unknown, the unknowable. Yet, no matter how we view these phenomenal de¬ velopments, we have no way of hiding from them or from the future. We are now a part of this vast scheme, and it becomes our obligation to contribute to the best of our ability for the good of our fellowmen. m Lest we get carried away too rapidly with affairs of outer space, we still face the mounting problems of our own immediate society — poverty, injustice, ra¬ cial tensions, religious uncertainty — that cry for solution. As we take our places in the adult world, the ideals and principles which we have been ab¬ sorbing here at Premontre must now be put into practice. How well we learned these lessons, how truly we believe in their value will soon become apparent. It is our hope and belief that in the Divine Plan a truly significant place awaits each one of us.
