MA TH CL UB Under the moderation of Mr. Ledvina and Mr. Short, this year ' s math club pursued the intricate world of mathematics. Guest speakers from various universities and colleges gave inspiring talks to the members during their bi-monthly meetings. The math club reflects the academic interest of Pre- montre ' s student body. The chess club kicked off its season with after school matches in the library. A TRYING YEAR FOR PUBLICATIONS This has truly been a trying year for members of the Cadet Staff. Many complications and unforeseen problems plagued the Staff from September through May resulting in the unhappy cancellation of the yearbook in June. However, the disappointment of having no Cadet was too much for some seniors who convinced the school administration to recon¬ sider and rescind the cancellation order. Under very adverse conditions, a group of determined seniors picked up the pieces, went to work, and this book is the result . We hope you will overlook any failings. Though our production may not be ; our intentions were the best.
