The 7968-69 Key Club Year began during the annual Convention at the Northland Hotel last spring. The convention elected Peter LePage as Governor of the Wisconsin Upper Michigan District of Key Club In¬ ternational, the first such honor to be bestowed on this school. Jim Bittner became his secretary. Several new activities were initiated by the Key Club. They managed the concession stand for the football games. On Halloween , the Key Club organized a Kandy for Kids project in which bags of treats were distributed to hospitalized children. The Key Club also aided the Bloodmobile campaign in many ways. The Club helped the Red Cross Pre-school program and continued its traditional activities; Will-O-Way Dance, Cerebral Palsy Campaign, the Heart Fund, and Kiwanis dinner meetings .
