As a display of the year ' s talented team, eleven play¬ ers were named to the All-Conference team, ten were named to the All-Metro team and one player was given the distinction of being named to the All- State team, while another was named to the second All-State team. An exceptionally large number of talented, hard¬ working and devoted players helped the team domi¬ nate the All-Conference and All-Metro teams. Al¬ though the whole team put forth 100% effort throughout the season, 77 players were selected to the All-Conference team. They were: Tom Baum- gart, Bruce Bishop, Mike Brunmeier, Dan Clark, Tom Ehlinger, Mike Leanna, and Brian Mocco on the offensive team that set scoring records; John Harrill, Dennis Hebei, Dennis Maloney, Pat Taylor and Tom Baumgart (again) were on the defensive team that thwarted, stymied and otherwise annihi¬ lated opposing teams. In addition, Dennis Maloney and Dan Clark were chosen first and second team All-State respectively, thus displaying the talent and dedication of Pre- montre athletes supplemented by a superior coach¬ ing staff.
