Dedication Since the beginning of time man has enioyed sports as a builder of the mind and the body. Good, clean sport in PREMONT HIGH SCHOOL has played a great part in molding the character of its students. To the spirit and the unity of sports We dedicate this, the i954 ROUNDUP.

But, even greater values can be attained from participation in sports. There can come a determination to give one's very best in a contest, a sense of iustice is not wanting to take an unfair advan- tage of an opponent, and an attitude of coopera- tion with teammates in playing under the rules of the game. These attitudes are not only de- sirable tor present living but may be equally valuable to one later in life. They do not come by themselves but must be developed in the individual by participating in our school athletic program. COACH BOREN
