The team won all of their dual meets and lost only two of a total 16 meets. Senior Bill Niedermeyer gained the top honor of first in all-around competition at the State meet. Also adding greatly to the team effort at the State meet were Ron Ropson, finish¬ ing eighth in still rings, and seniors Tom Glock, fifth in side horse, Ron Lessmiller, third on parallel bars, and Sean Bruechert, who while perform¬ ing with a painful shoulder separation, added valuable team points in horizontal bar, parallel bars, and still rings.
