CO MA DER PETER W. B LKELEY UNITED STATES NAV Commander Bulkeley hails from a Navy family and grew up in various Navy communities on both coasts ofthe United States. He entered the U.S. Naval Academy, Annapolis, Maryland, injune 1964. Commissioned an Ensign, U.S. Navy in 1968, his first tour of duty was on board USS AGERHOLM QDD-8261 where he served as Gunnery Officer and ASW Officer. After completing the Department Head Course, U.S. Naval Destroyer School, Newport, Rhode Is- land, in March 1974, he then served as Engineer Officer. USS JOHN S. McCAIN QDD-361 homeported in San Diego, California. Injuly 1976 he reported to NATO Headquarters, Brus- sels, Belgium, as a member ofthe U.S. Military Committee to NATO. He then served as Opera- tions Officer at the Naval Communications Stations, Rota, Spain untiljune 1979. In january 1980, he was assigned as Assistant Chief of Staff QCommunicationsj to Commander Cruiser Destroyer Group ONE. Commander Bulkeley reported to Fleet Training Center. Norfolk, Virginia in April 1982 as Prospective Executive Officer, USS TICONDEROGA QCG-47D until May 1984. Commander Bulkeley's most recent assignment was in the Office of the Secretary of the Navy QProgram Appraisalj. Commander Bulkeley holds a Bachelor of Science Degree and a Master of Science Degree in Management. He is also a graduate of the Royal Naval Staff College, Greenwich, England. His awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, the joint Service Commendation Medal and the Navy Achievement Medal. He also wears the Armed Forces and Navy Expeditionary Campaign Medals, National Defence Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal with three stars, the Navy Expert Pistol Medal and the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal. He is married to the former Carol Anne Simmons of Patterson, New jersey. The couple reside in Virginia Beach, Virginia with their daughter Lauren Leigh and son, Christopher Tare.

PS l I HOMAS W. FROHLICH ITED 'TA I E VY Commander Frohlich was born in Cleveland, Ohio and grew up in Euclid, Ohio. He attend- ed Case Institute of Technology and graduated in 1970 and with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physics. He enlisted in 1970 and was commissioned an Ensign in the U.S. Naval Reserve through the Officer Candidate School at Newport, Rhode Island in March 1971. Commander Frolich's first tour of duty was aboard USS ROBERT A. OWENS CDD 8273 as Main Propulsion Assistant. After completing the Department Head Course at U.S. Naval Destroyer School in November 1973 and augmenting to the regular Navy, he reported to USS DUPONT QDD 9419 as Engineer Officer. In October 1977 he completed his second depart- ment head tour as First Lieutenant aboard USS MANITOWOC CLST 11805 and reported to the Readiness Support Group in Norfolk, Virginia as the Officer-IN-Charge of the 6000 PSI Steam Mobile Training Team. Following this assignment, he served in USS FARRAGUT CDDG-375 as Engineer Officer and in USS PREBLE QDDG46J as Executive Officer. Command- er Frolich's most recent assignment was in the Office of the Naval Inspector General. Commander Frohlich's awards include the Meritorious Service Medal and the Navy Com- mendation Medal. He is married to the former Sally Ferris of Euclid, Ohio. The couple reside in Virginia Beach, Virginia with their sons David and joshua and daughter Catherine.
