The first meeting of the Eighth Grade was held September 26, 1958 in room 207 with Mr. Bartz pre- siding. Class officers were as follows: Kathy Jen- sen-president, Sharon Underhill-vice president, Clara Fulwood-secretary, Billy Romig-treasurer, Judy Van Housen-Student Council representative, and Edgar Emerson-alternate . In September we voted to name our club, 'East- man's Angels. Among the class's activities planned for the year are a record hop in January and a trip to Roseland Park in June. Since our last record hop brought in a large profit, another has been planned for this year. One of our classmates, Rocco Angus, was chosen newspaper boy of the year for Steuben County. The 7th Grade English Club organized with the following officers: the class president, Terry Allisg the vice president, Rene St. Pierreg the sec- retary, Sandra Kopylczakg and the treasurer, Janes Decker. The Student Council representative is Linda Loucks and the alternate, Jane Bullock. The club has its nesting every Friday after- noon. we had a Christmas party and exchanged gifts.
