CLASS HISTORY As commencement, 1959, approaches, we the class of '59 look back upon the years pre ceding graduatlon. It seems only yesterday, that fifty one boys and girls entered Frank lin Academy, w1th Miss Flaherty as their first grade teacher. Junlor year, w1th Mr Kuller as our advisor, Margorle Hankinson transferred to our class from Bath Our main mney maklng progect that year was the sponsoring of a dance, 'The Lion's Roar Remember the bigger than l1.fe lion's head on the gym stage? This year, our last at P C S found Nancy Whitaker and Jean Doty joining us in Mrs Merritt's home room All our efforts were directed toward financing the tr1p to Washington, D C in May In the fall we sold magazines and made a profit of about 3500 We're just born salesman, I guess Nuts in May, a comedy by Cornelia Otis Sklnner was put on by our class after weeks of preparation At last, it is June, the exams are over, the trip has been taken, and we have to leave P C S. The year that the class of 1959 has been together have been filled with both fun and achievennnt Now we are going out into the world to pra tice what we have learned these twelve happy years at school SENIOR PLAY Cornelia Ot1s Skinner nn.
