.LI U u u u u Many a sleepless night I have spent pouring countless hours of work on a visual image which may live for only a moment on the screen. That isn't just for animatin, but also on film and video productions. It has been a lot of work, but it also has been a lot of fun. I have made a home of the film department and feel rather sad leavinq. Not just because of the new equipment and facilities, but tne new surge of student interest that has awakened much enthusiasm. A combination with the photo department, the introduction of slide presentations, and the addition of computer animation has created a new MEDIA Department encompassing Film, Video, and Photography. I feel like one of the first products of this media combination, and only wish I could spend more time expanding along with the department. But at semester's end, after the annual Film and Video festival, I shall depart from Pratt... until, of course, this summer's annual Film Department boat party.

Seasons that divide time here, seeming so long, but really so short in a lifetime of pursuit, or is it a lifetime of pursuit? One and the same, yes they both count as one, as we begin here in Brooklyn. When end comes we realize that we are the teachers of our craft. So what are all the seasons in Brooklyn for? Pure and simple; human interaction; the purpose for making art. And the Youths asked unto their teacher, What of the future? And when the seasons ended the Youths answered unto themselves, We are the future!!
