RAYMOND DURANT RAY Ray was the last person to join our class. His arrival in November swelled our ranks to the grand total of twenty-eight. He found that many of our class activities appealed to him and he was accepted readily as one of the gang. We are more than pleased that he came to Pratt to graduate as a member of '50. LARKIN EDWARDS BIRD Rifle Club 3, Radio Club 33 Osage,4g Dramatics Club 4. We are very happy that Larkin came to us in our second year. Is there anything you wish to know in the field of science? just direct your questions to Larkin-he's sure to know the answers. He has been a great help to Mr. Aykroyd in the shop with his never-ending service. Best of everything to Bird! He has been the head of our class for the last two years in high school, and we have all profited by his leadership and ability. jim has taken part in a great many activities, and with a background such as his, he can't help meeting success. She has also been a faithful member of chorus and orchestra, and the competent busi- ness manager of our school play. Best of luck in your chosen career, Sylvia. I5

From her very first day at Pratt, Anne has played an active part in all the school activities. Her enthusiastic cheerleading, especially during basketball season, will be hard to equal, as will her contributions to publicity committees and her excellent posters. All these activities should help to make Anne successful in her chosen career. Our class wishes you the best of luck, Anne ELIZABETH COOMBS BETTY Girls' Chorus 1, 2, Clef Dwellers 3, 4 president, Dramatic Club 2, 3, 4 secretary, School Play 2, 3, 4, One-Act Play 2, Minstrel 1, 2, 4, Osage Board editor, Student Council 4 secretary-treasurer, Prattler 4, Field Hockey 3 asst. manager, 4 manager, Declamations 2, Orchestra 2, Pi Club 2, 3, 4 president, D. A. R. Award. Versatility plus-that's Betty. Her writing and dramatic abilities are widely known and as for her musical talents-they have aided chorus and the minstrels for four years. Bud is one of the smiling Irishmen who is full of witty remarks and never fails to make a friend of anybody he meets. His skill in both basket- ball and baseball has brought him much fame and popularity at Pratt and he will be greatly missed on both teams, come next year. Bud's friendly smile will linger in the halls of Pratt long after he is gone. Wherever you find Garda, you'll also find Bev. These two girls are the very best of friends and have stuck together through everything. Garda is one of the mainstays of the baseball team and I know it will be hard to lind another catcher to take her place. It will also be hard to replace her in the chorus and minstrel. With her willingness, Garda should go far. 'I4

my vr M V .www Y- - a , . .f.w-'- KATE HINCI-ILIFFE SUZI Dramatics Club 4, Osage 4, Clef Dwellers 4, School Play 4, Minstrel 4, Baseball 4. Suzi is always bubbling over with energy and good spirits. She joined our class at the beginning of this year and quickly made friends with the entire school. Suzi's most outstanding feat was her remarkable sales record in the magazine campaign, and with the characterization of Hazel in the school play, she proved herself to be a wonderful actress. Maybe we'll be seeing you soon on Broadway! Barbara is one of our best all-around citizens as you may well judge from het election to the presidency of Student Council. She consistently excels in both her studies and school activities. She has been an able member of our field hockey team, and without her the junior Prom would not have been such a glorious success. The best of luck in all you undertake in the future, Barbara! Chick is one of our prized athletes. She has graced the field hockey, DOROTHY KRAAZ DOLLY Clef Dwellers 3, 4, Library Club 4, Minstrel 2, Baseball 4. Usually Dolly is a quiet, good-natured person, but she does have a temper, especially where her various nicknames are concerned. She has been a steady participator in our chorus and minstrels, and she always does every job she sets out to do well, and thoroughly. We're all glad that Dolly was a member of our class, and I know she may look forward to more fun and success. CHICK baseball, and basketball teams for all of her four years and what Pratt teams will do without her is more than I know. Gloria has another side, too. Have you ever seen her type? It makes you dizzy! Lots of luck, Chick, you will make a wonderful secretary, we're sure, if you go at your job the way you tackle most things. 16
