ffy CLASS One hundred and ten students will graduate this year as the class of '-18. Throughout all the high school years. this class has been considered one of the most outstand- ing. The class was divided into ten different committees. The committees and committe chairmen were: Commence- ment, Margaret Mongerg Publications, Barbara Jacobsg Announcements, Don Fraizerg Finance, Mark K. Roseli- usg Social, JoAnn Baker, Mum Day, Rita Krehbiel Kingg Senior Play, Velma Blythe, Hobo Day, Dick Way, Senior Class Day, Ed Maagg Cap and Gown, Bob Hodges. The Social committee planned two parties this year, one a Hill Billy party, that went over with a bang.7' The girls wore old dresses and sunbonnets, while the boys wore jeans and boots. Admission to the party was a penny for every inch of waistline, the amount not ex- ceeding twenty-five cents. The other event was a Christ- mas party where everyone came a bit 'sdressed upf, Green and red crepe paper draped to the sides of the auditorium and a large tree decorated by the seniors gave everyone the Christmas feeling. The traditional Mum Day and 5'Skip Dayii were ob- served again this year by the seniors. The majority of the class were pretty well painted up', on Muni Day. Most of the seniors spent Skip Day' in Wichita having a good time. The play given was a three-act comedy entitled When l Was Green. The cast consisted of fourteen seniors. six boys and eight girls.
