Escorting Queen Kay to the throne and giving the traditional crown- ing kiss was team captain Kenneth Howell. Additional royalty, Miss Linda Lippincott and Miss Dena Scott, both freshmen, were escorted by Ken Kangeiser and Raymon Godfrey . The ceremony was one of the most colorful and exciting that Pratt Juco fans have witnessed for many years. Floats were contributed by various clubs of the college, and the band and pep clulo took part in the crowning ceremonies Queen Kay reigned over the remain- der of the game and the dance which was held in her honor following the victory game. silen l I Dena Scott, Kaydeue Dasheu, and Linda Lippincott,

Basketball R0 Nancy Koch, a friendly and popular Juco freshman from Turon, was elected Basketball Queen for 1957. The basket- ball team also chose sophomore Barbara Johnson and freshman Karen Fitzsimmons both of Cunningham as her attendants. Nancy was crowned in a special cere- mony preceding the Pratt Juco-Dodge City Juco game, by Dan Justice, team captain. Escorting attendants Barbara and Karen were players Bob White and Larry Tranbarger.
