Dance Club Dance Club had as its main objective to learn new dances such as the Tango, Mambo, and Samba. It met every other Tuesday night in the lounge. Usually there was g good turn-out and throughout the evening everyone enjoyed themselves by relaxing after a busy day with books. Miss Shirley Smith gave her excellent leadership ability as sponsor. On February 21, the Dance Club sponsored an all Juco trip to Wichita to be an Hi-Fi Hop. OFFICERS: Barbara Johnson, Presidentg Dan Justice, Vice Presiderxtg Edith Force, Secretaryg Larry Traubarger, Treasurer.

t Forensics .luco students interested in forensics and their sponsor Everett Brown had a busy year. A one act play Special Guest and several informative and dramatic orations were presented at the state meet held on our campus. Mr. Brown also assisted the debate teams, Wendell Lampe, and Dean Eckhoff, and Phillip Lunt and Gordon Coulter, with the debate proposition Resolved, that the U.S. should discontinue economic aid to foreign countries. These teams took part in debates with other college teams throughout Kansas and surrounding states, ending their season at the state meet at Pratt. 44 s.s.e.-..,,

The Junior College Band, under the direction of Mr. Norman Radke, made their neatly uniformed appearance at all the home and some of the out of town basketball and football games.
