'E Starting the second semester at Juco were these two students: Vera Kirivatona - is from Songkhla, Thailand, and i majoring in Pre-Engineering. He is a freshman. Before coming to Juco Willie attended a school in Virginia. Ardeshir Namvar - Ardy is from Tehran, lran, and is studying Pre-Engineering. He, too, is a freshman. 36 S This year Pratt Juco was fortunate in having five foreign students. The three who joined us first semester are: Ung Chang Kim - Teddy is from Seoul, Korea and is majoring in Social Science. He is a freshman. Freydoun Nowzari - Frank , who is from Tehran, Iran, is in his second year here at Juco. He is majoring in Pre-Engineering. Charintr Sripromma - Charinfr is from Bangkok, Thailand, and is majoring in Forestry. He completed his first two college years at the semester and is con- tinuing his studies at the University of Michigan.

Pep Club ms, , e 'iik in Q f 1 P so ' - I l , 1 .- 1 ze 5 in The purpose of the Pep Club is to encourage good sportsmanship and to help keep the school spirit high. The Pep Club decorated the goalposts during football season and kept the gym decorated for the home basketball games. The club also had charge of the homecomings, both football and basketball. The club was under the capable leadership of Miss Kathy Gee, with the following officers elected to help her: President Barbara Johnson, vice-president, Larry Tranbarger, secretary, Janice Greenstreet, treasurer, Peggy Wright, and skit captain, Linda Lippencott. CI? -:za -9 Elected to the post of leading our pep section were four freshmen, Dianne McEchron, Janice Greenstreet, Dena Scott and Linda Lippencott and one sophomore, Donna Renner. Proudly wearing our school colors of blue and white, these cheerleaders did a fine job of leading cheers at all football and basketball games, and at all pep assemblies. 1
