went, we saw, we conquered By Patty Dowty On May 6 at 4:15 in the early morn- ing, 50 seniors set out on what was to be a very wet and cold four-hour drive to Branson, Mo. When they arrived at JR's Motor Inn they were ready for sleep. But according to Ms. George's schedule this trip was not for sleep. The busy schedule began with a day at Silver Dollar City then back to the motel for a little free time. Then it was back on the bus to the Shepherd of the Hills show and on to Pizza Hut for din- ner. The next morning they rose at 7:45 to have breakfast across the street at Bonanza. They had free time to shop and dump a few sponsors into the pool until 6:30. This time they travelled to Sadies Sideboard to catch dinner before the Baldknobbers show. Later, they went to the Track IV for go-cart and bumper boat rides. Sunday was the end of the trip. They had free time until 1:00, when they loaded up on the bus for a long trip home interupted with a brief stop at the Pro Bass Shop in Spr- ingfield. They finally arrived home at about 8:00, tired, but full of memories. Brad Mendenhall shows his true age. Mr. Elder spashes into the pool.
