In tournament play, the varsity won the Frontenac Tournament while plac- ing Dana Teagarden and Tammy Boone on the all-Tournament team. The J .V. squad won the Prairie-View Jayhawk-Linn Invitational. Teagarden also made the all-Tournament squad at the Trojan Tip-Off. The girls also captured some state honors as Teagarden finished 11th in 4-A rebounding.
