Volleyball Prairie View High School girls volleyball team played with enthusiasm and deter- mination in 1987. The girls played by the motto, lt'.s never over 'till it's over. Countless times when behind Prairie View fought back. This is courage that cannot be measured and ls hard to define. Several milestones were ac- complished this season The freshman team finlshed.the season with only two losses, and were runners-up in the Wellsville freshman tourna- ment. 'I'he J. V. team finished 4thinthe league and 3rd place in the Louisburg J. V. Tourna- ment. In Varsity play, the team finished 4th place in the Louisburg tournament. A first time victory was scored over Madison High School, class ZA state runner-up in 86. Most noteable however, was the in- tensity and quality with which the girls played. In one of the toughest leagues in the state, Prairie View showed first class teamwork and hustle all season.
