Scholarships and Awards 2. Harriet Baggett, salutatorian, received an academic scholarship from NLU. 3. Mike McGregor received the Outstanding Student Scholarship from La. Tech. 4. Frederick Moeller was winner of the American Legion Award. 5. Vicki Lachney Murphy, valedictorian, who received an Honor Scholarship at NLU, and also was awarded an Alumni Scholarship to NLU. 6. Patty Patrick received a cash scholarship from the Wesleyan Circle of First United Methodist Church. , 7. Penny Sisson, third honor student, received the Lee Young Memorial Award. . 8. Mike Sivils was co-recipient of the Lee Young Memorial Scholarship and winner of the American Legion cash scholarship to the school of his choice. 9. Donya Stevenson earned a Leadership Scholarship to NLU and also named American Legion Award recipient. 10. Theresa Tubbs, recipient of the Xi Gamma Eta Scholarship. 5 2 96
