WORLDS OF ACTION-PACKED ADVENTURES IN PANTHERLAND The World of Pantherland is an action-packed, appealing World of people who are going places and doing important and exciting things. In 1967-68. The Prairie View World was particularly in a whirl. Moving toward the development of a residential college philosophy, students and stall alike became more involved in the processes of change at the college. Leadership conferences. workshops and other involvement activities dotted the year’s schedule, and new terms like junior fellows” became commonplace in the language of the hill.” On the World of Pantherland were nearly 4000 students and 500 start' members, many of whom made outstanding contributions to their own development and to the progress of the college. All are pictured in the pages of this book, and many of those who achieved arc recorded herein. The Stall' of the PANTHERLAND takes pride in presenting this pictorial history of Prairie View A M College for the academic year 1967-68. We hope that the World of Pantherland will bring back fond memories as we look, with great hope, to a World of international understanding — love — and peace. 2 I
