1043682 One PRAIRIE VALLEY SENIORS IN '65 Saturday in 'bS it occurred to me That old Prairie Valley I should like to see So I began at once preparations to make And soon on the road my journey I take I came upon a cottage, white and neat With four little girls clean and sweet When I looked around and began to ponder Whom did I see but their mother By her I was told that all around Wells were drilled and oil was found And the efficient driller you'll discern No other was than our A few miles farther to a place I came With acres of land, cattle and grain Gazing about to survey a new terrace one-, I saw at a glance the proud owner was ygfr, NW I QMS Next I drove south to a town of renown tv Where circulars ever where could be found A United States Senator was to make an address I soon discovered that it was At a filling station on main street A clever attendant I chanced to meet His face was smiling, not a trace of a scowl He turned out to be our own When I become hungry I looked around And The The The the best place to eat I soon found food was good, the place was ritzy manager was Bob, the owner guests, I observed, were dressed in late style As they waited for service, they chatted a while Most of the prattle I was unable to con far But I did learn the rodeo announcer was to be I turned on T. V. while I waited to be served And listened to news and the styles I observed When the news was over, I saw not a pixy But the charming announcer whom we call With the program that followed I was not bored For You For the sponsors were showing a new red Ford may be surprised at the sponsor, I promis he was none other than our own dear EQ
