Composed of the class officers and a Board of Di- rectors, the student government has taken the responsibility to improve the relationship between students and faculty. As rep- resentatives of the student body, the officers are responsible for the organization and promotion of dances and other social activities. This year the student government has sent representatives to the Illinois Association of junior Colleges Convention, which was held in Peoria, Ill. The ideas gathered at the meeting aided in giving the student government the power and the recognition needed to be a successful organization. l 39
