Spring Chickens - Why did the chicken cross the road? To get to the other side. No, to go to the Chicken Barbecue, dumbie. The Prairie Heights Education Association, a local organization of teachers, and the SAE, sponsored the first chicken barbecue. The proceeds went for a scholar- ship, for a deserving college bound student. A gym show was provided for entertain- ment starring both elemen- tary and high school stu- dents. Various acts of tumbling, acrobatics, rou- tines on the equipment and dances constructed an en- joyable evening . 22 C i 2 Cll Mr. Myers takes time out of his table cleaning chores to mingle with the guests.
