Classes Convos 84 College Days C11 Entertainment between songs by the swing choir, was a short play dealing with the Christmas spirit. 121 Teachers and students alike thoroughly enjoyed the concert put on by Under New Management , sponsored by Campus Life. t31 The convocation called Spies and Trai- tors presented the students with the facts of law and order. C41 Pam and Bau Graves introduced the stu- dents of Prairie Heights to Country Westem and Folk Singing. 1 1 Student Jobs .T fs! A ggi-T 'gi Inflation and rising costs of gasoline were two of many factors that cause students to look for jobs. The lucky few who were able to find a job most likely worked as waitresses or gas station at- tendants or check outs in T groceries. The more thrifty saved their money for a new car, college, or married life expenses. The added res- ponsibility and time requir- ed for a job forced them to sacrifice some of their soc- ial life. But when they were ready to have fun, with their added income, they could be real bigspenders. 113 Jeff Noll works at Roberts' Mar ket in Stroh to make some of that green stuff.
