Women unite in effort to make scholarship possible The Classroom Teachers' As- sociation sponsored Chili Sup- per, featured a basketball game between the Prairie Heights women faculty and the elementary women faculty. The rivalry between the teams caused much excitement and fun for all who were involved and participated. The PH women won after a tension- filled game. Proceeds went to a FTA scholarship fund. The line up of players is introduced before the starting tipoff is begun. 11 Miss Swihart shoots a foul shot to help the PH faculty defeat the elemen- tary faculty. 'Struggling for the ball, the teams fought hard until the final seconds.

Juniors-seniors split class tourney wins The annual class tourney be- gan with the senior girls de- feating the sophomore girls in an excitement packed game. The juniors then defeated the seniors, after beating a hard- fighting freshmen team. Ten- sion mounted as the last sec- onds reached the final boys' game, with the juniors and seniors going against each other. Ava Sellers takes her victory lap after being crowned 1972 Homecoming queen. Homecoming All of the traditions of Home- coming were observed this year with the addition of a few festivities. The most memor- able was the day everyone dressed as a member of the opposite sex. Other spirit days were Hat Day , 5O's Day , Decorate the Halls Day , and the traditional Far- mer Day .
