PRAIRIE’S PRIDE Hey, we’re from Prairie and we couldn't be prouder. If you can't hear us now, we'll yell a little louder . . . This cheer, so familiar during the foot- ball and basketball seasons, shows the pride of every student in Prairie High. This pride is not in just the school as a place of learning, but also in our sports, organiza- tions, extracurricular activities, and in our students and their achievements, past, present, and future. For four generations Prairie High students have passed this en- thusiasm and pride from student to student. As the first brick school house was built with pride in 1891 by early pioneers, eager for education for their children, so our parents are building our new school, eager for the best in education for us and those who will follow us.
