Harold Maas, Barbara Mueller, and Jo Ann Schoephorster are striving to meet the dead line. THEIR WORK CAPTURES MEMORIES Thoughts of the glory of putting out the '56 yearbook blinded the staffs' eyes to the many difficult jobs ahead-- jobs like planning pages, taking pic- tures, writing copy and captions, and selling the yearbook. Their first concern was soliciting •ads. Muttered phrases could be heard s they practiced sales speeches. How good those phrases sounded--un- jtil they stood before their first pro- spective sponsor. Page planning was a larger bite than planned on. They began working ! with that novelty, the pica, for sizes of pictures; and copy captions and Sheadings which were pinned in place to assure themselves of the effect on the reader.
