Jena Doering is working on a news- pap ar staff in Oakland,1 California. Nancy Schroeder is singing in the Metropolitan opera. Her brother David is a singer for Tommy Dorsey’s band. Guess who is coaching the University of Minnesota’s Basketball team .'None other than Bob Schuknecht. (And he’s still single of course.) Catherine Ryan and her husband are running a big resort in California. Carol Shanks is living in Hawaii. Oh, by the way she married the Pres- ident of the Colorado Mining and Engineering School. Dave Swanson is in the Air Force and is stationed in Greenland. When he has a chance he does a little explor- ing. Marvin Thurow has designed a new auto- mobile called the Thurow jet-mobile which will travel an easy clip at 500 miles per hour. Harvey Ott is touring Europe giving lectures on modern methods of farming. Harold Zander owns a 500 acre ranch near Merrimac. Caroline Schwartz has started a dress shop in Koxbury doing her own sewing of course. Shirley Olson is married to the head of the Wallgreen Drug Store. Irene Schneller and Helen Schauer are both nurses. Helen is head nurse at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison. Irene is private assistant to an eye spe- cialist. Cynthia Schoss is teaching near Witwen. Doris Slotty is secretary to the United States representative to the United Nations Organization. Audrey Walker has formed a woman's basketball team and is touring the country playing exhibition games. Rae Jean Ulrich is making her living drawing pictures for the Esquire Girl Calendars. Elizabeth Weiss is Dean of Woman in a college down South. 22
