Prairie du Chien High School presented the musical Once Upon A Mattress November 10, 11, 12, 13, 1983. The musical was a great success. The cast was made up of 12 seniors, 1 junior, and 2 freshman. Many hours of work and practice were put in by the cast and directors after school, at night, and weekends. The cast members also spent many hours of their own time learning lines and songs. Dance memories linger on Continuing with tradition, the Jr. Fall, Sadie Hawkins, and Sr. Dances were held again this year. Jr. Fall Dance was held on November 4th with music provided by Tom Stram. Sadie Hawkins gave the girls their chance to ask their favorite guy. Sadies was held on December 16th with music provided by KFMW 108. The profits from the dance went to Operation Santa Claus. The Sr. Dance was on February 10th. This year it was a sweetheart dance to celebrate Valentines Day. Upper Lett: Freshman are Foolin ' themselves at Sadies. Upper Center: C. Thomas and J.
