Commencement exercises, in honor of the Class of 1977. were held June 2. 1977. They chose for their theme Be Patient, for it is Only Morning and We Have Yet to Live Our Day '. The class colors were maroon and white, with the flower being a white rose. The class song was ''Friends’ by Elton John-Bernie Taupin.
