PRAIRIE DOG 1956 XVI IXI' IS PRQXIRIIC IIIGII? .X school has a personality just as an in- dividual. .X schooI's personality is composed of faculty members and hundreds ol' stu- dents, their thoughts and emotions, their words and deeds. .-Xs you review the school year of I955- I956, you will see many phases of school life pass before you. You will notice that our high school is more than organizations, athletics, classes, events, parents, teachers, or mere buildings. This panorama of school life is the heart of the I956 annual. Students are the leading characters in a never ending program, their Theme-I joys and sorrows, their laughter and tears enliven the halls that otherwise would be still and lifeless. It is their work in activities and organi- zations that gives substance to the schools in- dividuality. 'lihe classes they attend, the sports in which they participate, the tradi- tions which they uphold, and the principles which they support are the foundation upon which rest the character of Prairie High. The working together of the students, the teachers, and the parents enhance the theme of this years annual, 'Wvhat is P.H.S.? Bt JQXRID OI ICDIIC.YI'ION NIR. BI-ZN SlI.Axl'1s .. ... s-- President DR.
