FOREWORD This reminder of our days at the Prairie du Chien High School has been a source not only of worry—even to desperation—but also of fun and interest to those who have devoted their time and thought to compiling it. We have endeavored to make this book as representative of our High School as possible. In the limited time allotted to the production of it we have been open for suggestions of every kind. We have received many valuable contributions and wish to thank all contributors for their endeavors. We also take this opportunity to thank the merchants of Prairie du Chien who have so generously subscribed for advertising space and whose support made this book a possibility.
