To The Class of 1957 I dare say half the working people in our country spend much of their time looking for a completely pleasant and easy job. As young people entering life you might just as well face the fact that there is no such thing. Do the job at hand, pleasant or unpleasant, with complete thoroughness. The pleasant part of life is in being able to look back at a job well done. Thoreau says, Drive a nail home and clinch it so faithfully that you will wake up in the night and think of your work with satisfaction .
