SCHOOL DAYS Stop! Look! Listen! Step aside! Make room for the thirty-five raging Freshmen entering the Prairie City High School on August 28, l9kk. The members of this class included: Jack Ballagh, Lyle Birk- enholtz, Lawrence Booth, Doris Mae Borts, Kathryn Bowans, Dorothy Brewer, Harold Churchill, Patricia Dalton, Marjorie De Bruyn, Shir- ley Erskin, Leora Furnoy, Catherine Gertsma, Maryalyce Gilbert, Gayle Headlee, William Honnold, Dwight Jack, Shirley Jennings, Ho- ward Jensma, Iola Mar1nus,George Patterson, Pauline Patterson, Vir- ginia Pinkerton, Loulse Roberts, Dale Ross, Marjorie Schakel, Phy- llis Shearer, Anne Tice, Lora Jean Vander Kraan, Vlvlan Mae Vande- Lune, Robert Van Yee, Ruth Van Zee, Darlene Wicker, Ines Wicker, Duane walker, Marvin Joe williams. The return of the former Freshmen on September 3, 1946 was calmed by a year of experience in High School. At the end of our Junior year we lost our Super- Mr. W. W. wilson, who was here when we started in grade with the presentation of our class play October twenty-fifth and twenty-sixth. April seventeenth, our theme Having graduated, the Seniors of 19H7 left us their position as upper-classmen in High School. We assembled on September l, l9Q7 with thirty-two members. During the course of our last year Virginia Pinkerton became a member of our group again. Bonl Junge joined our group during the last semester. In the spring our class presented UMama's Baby Boyu on April sixteenth and seventeenth. On May eighth we were entertained at a banquet given for us by the Juniors in Younkers Tea Room. On May 20, l9H8 thirty-four proud-Seniors in caps and gowns marched down the aisle of the First Reformed Church to receive their diplomas.
