A. began their official year with a watermelon feast for the executive committee and the club mothers in the park. The past years work was discussed and evaluated and the goals for the year were decided on. The projects and activities for the year were also discussed. The first project was a breakfast in the homemaking departm nt for new members. The first money making project was to raffle off a barrel of groceries at the Community Fair. Other money making projects through the year were selling Christmas Cards, pennants and in the spring an outdoor barbecue was held with the F. F. A. to add to their treasury. The big project for the year was the Family Night Banquest. The theme this year was WMGdMngq'mdwenmwcMUmsd our town were invited as special guests. A Family Fu Night was planned at Christmas for all the F. H. A. members and their families. It had to be postponed but the Chapter hopes to have one in the near future. Among the many projects F. H. A. parti- cipated in were: working with the Chamber of Commerce in numbering and naming the streets and houses of Fragueg helping needy familiesg civil defense and safety in the homey foreign pen pals and several others. The style show theme was 'April In Paris.' After a rather quiet year in F. H. A. the membe remember the state rally at Oklahoma City as one of the best and then there's always the annual trip as the Big Event of the year. It climaxes a very wonderful year for 92 members and one they will always remember. The ART of Better Home Making! Hrs. Blake Hargrove and H s. Alvin Hou Allin .44 e .x E' ,- tif 3.
