I I The builder of a new world is honored in history by the records of his achievements and accomplishments Such a builder as we have in our school cannot escape from grateful grasps of the student body the builder of high ideals, and deep and purposeful thinking A B Herring We all know ur Herring for his high standards of teach ing and ibr his thorough knowledge of the subjects Mathematics, science, and Latin whicr he has labored so herd to put over to us Since the appointment here as Superintendent in 1932 and.hter as teacher in l9LL many changes can be seen for the improvement in the scholastic advancements lr Herring will have finished his h5th year in educa proud to have been honored by the influence of a teacher and leader who had dedicated hislife to the building and molding of character and knowledge His keen perception and genuine interest in our student activities as well as our individual problems has endeared him to hundreds of students So to you, lm Herring, our most beloved and honored teacher, we dedicate this book It ls one way we have of showing our appreciation for your efforts of the past and of the present This is not a history book but it will serve as one es far as P P is concerned in telling the life of a builder 2 tional work at the clcse,of this school year.
