To the left are the grand- parents busy playing a word scramble game at one of the parties. At the rightis Shelly Odvody and Deanna Houfek returning to their seats with their gold medals at Search Events. At the left is Connie Kratky and Connie Stava with the Prague Chapter Display which received a silver medal at Search. At the left is Kingjim Kubik and Queen Darlene Sni- tily ofthe FFA and FHA Royal- ty party. Below is the 87-88 FHA Officers. Bottom right hand corner is Speaker at the FHA Installation Banquet. Heidi johnson, the Sta te Officer Candidate for Region B, FHA ers were busy continuously during the year with activi- ties. Members decorated a float with the theme of Beach Party 86 for the Saunders County Parade in August. Once a month they provide a hot meal to give students a break from cold sandwiches. Towards Halloween they Trick-or-Treat for Unicef and raised .S86.30. The District IV Convention was held on Oct. 8 at East But- ler. The Prague Chapter received 2nd place on their yearbook and 3rd on their scrapbook. One Friday a month FHA sells ice cream to P.I-LS. students. For a money making project members sold Tom Watt which is a showcase consisting ofa variety of items and they raised 570000. In November Search Events were hosted by the Howell 's school. Connie Stava and Connie Kratky received silver on the display. Family and Futures - Gold - Deanna Houfek, Shelly Odvodyg Consumer Education - Gold - Connie Kratky, Connie Stava, Marlene Sousekg Family Living and Parenthood Education - Silver - Kari johnson, Brenda Belik, Tracy Vanek, Becky Vanek. Good job Girls! On November 22 FHA sold honey for the Associa- tion for Retarded Citizens. On a Sunday near Halloween, Christ- mas, Valentine's Day and Easter, the chapter sponsors a Grand- parent's party which consists of some type of luncheon and winning prizes playing bingo and different games. FHA Week was Feb. 8-14. Cupcake sales for Valentine's Day went real well. 76 doz. cupcakes were delivered. March 23 the FHA and FFA Royalty party was held at Godfather's in Fremont, jim Kubik and Darlene Snitily were crowned King and Queen. The year was ended with a FHA banquet at Bre stwood Inn, Fremont. The new 87 88 FHA Officers lshown abovej were installed and are ready for an other busy year at P.H.S s,,n,4
