Homecoming Brings Alive P.H. S. Spirit E . T A Lf' CAREER DA Y C O UPLE DA Y Once again spirit Week was a success for the 1 986 homecom- ing. The kids seemed to enjoy it. Dressing up differently ga ve them a chance to show others their unique personalities. On Thursday night we had our annual bonfire. Everyone was Welcome to come to cheer and raise the spirit for the game. On Friday We had our pep rally Where the band leads the whole school downtown to cheer, and have skits. TWIST-SHOUT Homecoming blasted off to a good start when the football guys beat Elgin before half-time. On Oct. 17, 1986 the homecoming royalty was announced at halftime. Shown on the picture above: first row are: Rob Koranda, freshman honor guard: Andy Havlovic, crown carrier: Duane Ha vlovic, kingg Connie Sta va, queen and Amy Behne, crown carrier. Second row: Chrisjohnson, sophomore honor guard, Larry Koranda, junior honor guard: Scott Polacelc, senior honor guard, Cory Piercy, senior attendant, Connie Kratky. senior attendantg Darlene Snitily, senior honor guard: Karijohnson, junior honor guard, Carmon Egr, sopho- more honor guardg and Sherri Paseka, freshman honor guard. A.D.j. played at the homecoming dance. It started right after the game and lasted till 12:30. Hotdogs, potato chips, cake and punch were served at the dance, While 'Twisting and Shouting everyone had a good time.
