In the past three years that you have been here at Poynette we have known you as a teacher, counselor, and friend. You have excelled in each case and we' deeply appreciate your help. We will always remember you as a person we could go to with our troubles whether they be personal or scholastic. By dedicating this book to you we wish to express our thanks to you for help- ing us toward being better students and adults. ADMINISTRATION AND FACULTY ADMINISTRATORS FACULTY OFFICE STAFF CUSTODIANS COOKS BUS DRIVERS LUNCHROOM STAFF SUPERINTENDENT This is one of the classes with which I have been very near, not necessarily by choice but by having a member ever present in the family. The parties and the problems have always been close. Many pleasant moments can be recalled. If I were to select a class, the class of 1965 must be my choice because each ache and pain, each troubled and happy moment have been just a little nearer with this class. Congratulations to the class of 1965. PRINCIPAL The class of 1965 has given of itself in many ways to make Poynette High School a fine school. Twelve students have maintained a “B” average or higher during the four years of high school. You have contributed to the school in countless ways--through forensics, band and chorus, dramatics, athletics, and other worth- while extra-curricular activities. The real trademark of the class of '65 has been cooperation. Seldom has a group of students with such varied backgrounds de- veloped into a class with your outstanding qualities!!!! Best wishes in the future, whether it be in college, advanced vocational training, or in a worthwhile job!!! Numerals and letters are awarded for the comple- tion of one year in a sport, but a letter must be won to join the club. A school blanket is awarded for lettering in the same sport for four years. The Lettermen's Club helps the F. H. A. in running the food stand at home football games and also sponsors youth-centers. The club is in its second year of organization and is growing rapidly. It is also helping to promote school spirit. LJ PEP CLUB ROW ONE: L. Webster, B. Powers, J. Wolfgram, G. Mabry, J. Bisbee, Student Council Representative; K. Pulsfus, Vice-president; B.
