Social Studies From Past to Present The goal of the Social Studies program is to get students to understand why certain things do happen and to help them meet the challenges of the community, nation, and the world. American Problems brings a better understanding of world affairs along with World History and U. S. History. These classes were taught by Mr. Anderson. Mr. Nicklaus instructed the World Geography class. Mr. Nicklaus looks over his notes during World Geography. In American Problems, Cora Leggett, Dave Wilcox, and Calvin Looney hurry to finish. Craig Rector, Gene Rogers, John Clauson, David Wilcox, Lowell Shorb, Tom Cunningham, and Pete Cunningham take notes in U. S. History. French and Library Service with a Smile Mr. Nicklaus, our teacher of French and the supervisor of the library assistants is a great help to the students. Besides knowing a lot about the background of French and everything about the library, he can tell you about almost anything. In French I and II the students had fun while they learned.
