TRANSPORTATION REV. CROSSMAN This has been the first year in a number of years that the Powers School Dis- trict has had a school bus. Our contract with the Don Green Transportation Company of Reedsport, Oregon provides transporta- tion from home to school and from school to activities. The bus has proven its worth many times over in athletic transportation and also in making it possible for different pep organizations to go to games as one group. It has almost entirely eliminated the use of private vehicles with the attending problems. Rev. Harold Crossman served as regular bus driver during the school year and Mr. Lloyd Keech as alternate. Both men have done an excep- tionally fine job. SECRETARY MRS. MINTONYE Our School Sec- retary, Mrs. Mintonye, serves as secretary to Mr. Elder, Superinten- dent and Mr. Patterson, Vice-Principal. Her major duties are: super- vision of bookkeeping for the student body, keeping cumulative and perman- ent records of students, writing correspondence, developing budget accounts and general office work. We owe a lot to Mrs. Mintonye for the fine job she does.
