JUNIOR CARNIVAL The annual Junior Carnival was held October 28, in the old gym. It ended an hour earlier than scheduled due to a sellout in nearly all booths. An auction quickly got rid of anything left. The total profit equaled $ 162. 50. Senior Booth--Dime Throw “Hi, there, Billy Dunn Pauline Aubin and Louis Lambert Telegraph Service--Freshmen Booth Senior--Janie Warrick Concessions--Junior Booth Mr. Elder, Jim Crabill, Judy Caughell, Ron Bergstrom and Margie Frye and Butch Hubert. JUNIOR On Saturday, December 9, the annual Junior Prom was presented by that class. The time for preparing decorations was lim- ited due to the daily use of the gym. The theme, “Three Coins in a Fountain , was carried out by using a fountain as the center attraction. The arriving couples were wel- comed by a rose arbor over the entrance. Trellaces of ivy provided a striking back- PROM ground for the Medford Fuller Orchestra which was engaged to play for the event. It was not an especially profitable occasion largely due to several experi- mentations: The dance was held in the new gym for the first time and it was an invitational affair. The general opinion was expressed as, 'A very nice and orderly dance.“ 26

We sure have been a busy class. We started decorating for our Junior Carnival two weeks a head of time. The carnival was a great success and everyone en- joyed themselves. Our class contributed to the all school play, Here Comes Charlie , with seven Juniors participating in it. The decorations for our Junior Prom were completed by our efficient class in one evening and the afternoon of the Prom. We do not expect the rest of our year to be as busy, but hope to continue striving for a better school. William Lawson BUSY CLASS ! 25

JUNIOR SENIOR BANQUET APRIL 28 The Junior-Senior Banquet was pre- sented by the junior class for the graduating Seniors in the cafeteria pre- ceeding the Sen- ior Ball. The sophomore girls did a fine job of serving. The table cen- terpieces and food were superb; as were the entertain- ment. Mr. Thomas played his accordion and Mr. Nick- laus, the Sen- iors' advisor, revealed inter- esting facts about the Sen- iors.
