SUPERINTENDENT This year Mr. Irwin Elder has taken on an additional responsibility in filling the office of Superintendent, as well as the duties of being Principal of Powers Hi i School. His interest in the students is appreciated by all. Following is his state- ment to the students: I exhort you to redouble your efforts toward a better preparation. Congratulations to the class of 1962. I wish you happiness and success. Signed, Irwin Elder Superintendent VICE-PRINCIPAL This year a new administrative office was created. Mr. William C. Patterson from Cathlamet has- filled this post very capably. Through his ingenuity and en- thusiasm many changes have taken place around the school. All the students join together in saying Mr. Patterson has cer- tainly been an asset to our school. Here is his message to the graduating seniors and the entire student body: ■ We hope we have not failed you in our responsibility and that each of you will find much value and satisfaction from the education you have received in high school. It is my hope that you will use this know- ledge wisely and my wish that each of you will be richly rewarded. William C. Patterson Vice-Principal
