Started: Nancy Branda, Carla Brummet, Roxie Clark, Esther Coldiron, Judy Hall, Sharol Heintzelman, Joyce Hollenbeck, Janet Lane, Linda McCarty, Kay Merchen, Kathleen Patton, Patsy Reed, Lola Warner, Margaret Whetnall, Fayetta Harrelson, Gaye Williamson, Jim Adamek, Jim Boutin, Fred Brotton, Tom Christian, Jim Cook, Ron Getchell, Ken Goebl, Don Grove, Richard Lambert, Jack Hoffman, Mearl McDaniel, (Pat McMahon), Arlen Morgan, John Peterson, Gerald Pope, Bill Utterback, Tom Wadman, Spencer Warner, Margaret Whetnall, Gary Grant. We started with 14 girls and 16 boys, and took off to Gaylord Park for our picnic, a huge eight miles away. SECOND: ’49 - ’50; Mrs. Shindoll. Gained: Vernon Brotton, Darrel Fry, Beverly Frye, Beverly Hyotola, Bob Lambert, Gerald Pope, Russell Stacy, Jane Wadman. Lost: Bob Lambert, Linda McCarty, Gerald Pope, Russell Stacy, Lola Warner, George Whetnall. Mrs. Shindoll pretty well tamed us downthisyear, and at the end of the year, she confined us to the school-ground for our picnic. THIRD: ’50 - ’51; Mrs. Utterback. Gained: Terry Epperson, Gary Grant, Sharol Heintzelman, Lewis Lacy, Bruce Matthews, Margaret Neal, Terry Pressler. Lost: Gary Grant, Beverly Hyotola, Bruce Matthews, Terry Pressler. This year we went up on Bingham for the picnic. Hide-and seek was the main game of the day, as usual. It lasted all day. ( Cont'd on P. 16)
