Each contestantt runs his ut- most to the rythmic beat of cheering spectators. Not only does one see the best local teams but also international ones, including Canadian. This, you must understand, is only half the story of what our team endures. Since it is mainly concerned with the honor it can bestow on the school and thus the school body. it is only fitting that the student body take an interest in their behalf. After interviewing the sprinters. I found that their pet gripe is the lack of interest shown in them. While the rooters for Hayes and Lough- lm fill Nladison Square Garden the rooters for Power combine for a very negllglble total Sure Power hasnt the student body of Hayes or Loughlin but the ratio of attendance IS abominable But that s enough preaching Xesterday as I munched a ham sand wich I saw a tall lanky sprinter opposite TILE!
