CLASSES Illlll llllllll IIN ,lolln W ilkins shows J Sulln an T Walsli, ,I Lorenzo and M Reilly somethin of interest on the 407 bulletin board Class 306 School days on the third floor are saved from mediocrity by the happy antics of these lively freshmen Their chief virtue seems to be their ability to keep smiling Ihough small in number they have definitely established them selves as one of the most promising of the freshman classes Replete with talent and school spirit they have pitched into the activities with a zest wondrous to behold The band boasts the services of P Ixizis, F Autormo T Sheehv J Treco R Reiss man R Redican and L Sennello The blee Llub is aided by the singing of 'NI Reilly J Tovsey J Lorenzo T Walsh and G Rokenbrodand The Power has artist T, Stack, The effective running of B. In Basketball Tom Maher represented 306 on the Freshman team. establishing himself as good ball hawk. BI. Reilly and J. Towey have estab- lished themselves as managers of the Soprano section of the Glee Club. It is they that insure that doors are open and music on hand when the Sopranos practice every Tuesday, Thursdays and Fridays. It would be well to mention here that the two boys who managed the Varsity Basketball team were G. Ro- kenbrod and J. Lorenzo-both 306 boys. It would be significant to mention here that though this class is a very active class the active element seems to be confined to the rear of the class Ifor some unknown reason funknown to those who haxe had no association with class 3061 the last three rows of this class have been stocked with some of the liveliest frosh Power has ever had We would liken them to an atomic pile which generates energy to its sur roundmgs Xes they laugh much, and play much and participate much We hope that they will always stay this way Front Ro J Tones K Redigan L Senello T Sullixan J Coran P Rizis I Lahiff I Treco C Rokcnbrod Srrcnd Ro P Nlcbmn Allen Bolek T Qtack E Smith J Wilkens R Wiesman D Wasp J Xorke T Walh P jack F Nfaruttllo J Iortnzo j Hassett Thzrd Rott 1 Sullixan R Wasp F -Xutorino J OI'arrcll W Stalzer T 'Maher T Codogan H Smoak J Warden j Shcchx P Xillon P Walsh T Spalloss Bark R0 D Withers R Raymond J Nlaxgar T Xesex W Higgm J Watson NI Reilly W Sullnan 192 The Power , . . .7 . W Hesse and ,l Hook can t agree on who is correct Hesse says, oh well, he seems to be framing his point IH anv event Class 404 Of the twenty nine classes that hum through the day s activities at the Power Tower no two are cast in the same mold In most classes there are close to forty desks occupied and each period finds a different teacher holding sway It is a pleasant thing that the disparity that exlsts from group to group IS the very thing that lends character and 1nd1v1du ality to each room Room 404 is not without this person ahty that sets It apart Its aggregate CLASSES ' rol Vasquez and others has much to do with setting this group apart from the If other inhabitants of the fourth floor. They are heavy contributors to the ath- letic scene. Robert McKiernan, Stewart Melsopp. and john Rice did yeoman ser- vice on the J. Y. Basketball team. Bob Mcliiernan at present holds down the first base assignment on the varsity Baseball team.
