As for track, the most impressive work was done by our hard running freshmen. Notable among these were 220 yard man Don Bohan and his fleet companions, Pat OCon- nor and john Shea. Their 107 medals and four trophies augurs well for next year. Correction In the May issue of The Power on p. 142, an article and picture appeared stating that Mr. Gal- lagher was the head of the Confraternity of The Christian Doctrine at Power. Mr. Gallagher is a Director of the Lonfraternity of The Christian Doc- trine, but not at Power, since the Confraternity has not been established at Power as yet. The work of teaching boys at St. Matthewts is an activity of the Sodality to which Mr. Gallagher has given gener- ously of his time. That s it page 149 and in the very same place Th ree Practices-Three Dlstunctnons The Glee Club after three practices on the stage of the Hunter College Playhouse, owns the distinc- tion of three more performances on this stage than any previous Power Glee Club. Their performance is expected to set a new high and also to provide suitable company for Power s prize-winning band. Power Takes IC B Freshman Meet For the hrst time in six years Power topped Rice and won the I.C.B. Freshman Meet. Notable in the Meet was the four wins registered by Don Bohan four first places that is, in the high jump broad jump 880 and 220. It was a first for Power in I.C.B. competition. Drackers win in the shot put ta 48' HM heavej plus the 50.5 showing by the 440 yard relay team, was all Power needed to bring home the trophy. For those interested, we won 545 to 29M for Rice.
