Mrs. Leah Johnson Miss Beth Siphers Mrs. Evelyn Whitt Miss Sarah Broadwater As we entered Powell Valley, we felt, rather than knew, that we were standing on a threshold; ahead of us was a whole new way of life in a new school. We could look forward to everything it had to offer: new friendships, participation in clubs, activities, and sports, and that far-off dream of the day ue would fill the Senior seats in the auditorium. Again this year we were standing on a threshold. The dream that once seemed so far-off is about to become reality; soon we will be Seniors. We looked back with both pride and regret, but we looked forward with hope. There are many opportunities yet awaiting us and we hope that when we leave Powell Valley, we can have the satisfac- tion of knowing that we have made the very most of all our school has offered us and that it will be a better place for our having been there.
